The Remodeling Procedure is an advanced skin revision process designed to improve how the skin functions at a structural level. Rather than relying on a single exfoliating treatment, this approach works through preparation, controlled stimulation, and guided recovery so the skin can rebuild itself more efficiently.
This is not a cosmetic peel and it is not a one time facial. It is a carefully sequenced process that respects how skin heals, renews, and stabilizes over time.
Assessment
Understanding Your Skin Before Correction Begins
The Remodeling Procedure begins with a comprehensive skin assessment.
This step evaluates how your skin is currently functioning rather than focusing only on what is visible. Circulation, congestion patterns, inflammation, pigment behavior, texture, and healing tendencies are all considered.
This assessment allows us to determine how much preparation your skin requires and how it is likely to respond to the Remodeling Procedure itself. It also helps set realistic expectations around sensation, downtime, and visible changes.
Skin that is properly assessed behaves more predictably during revision.
Muscle Banding
Conditioning the Skin for Remodeling
Before the Remodeling Procedure is performed, the skin must be conditioned.
Muscle Banding sessions are used to improve circulation, oxygen delivery, and tissue responsiveness. Skin that is stagnant or poorly oxygenated does not remodel evenly and is more likely to react aggressively or heal slowly.
Through repeated Muscle Banding sessions, the skin becomes more resilient and responsive. Clients often notice improved firmness, reduced fluid retention, and a healthier overall appearance even before the Remodeling Procedure occurs.
This conditioning phase is essential. It prepares the skin to tolerate controlled stimulation without unnecessary inflammation.
The Remodeling Procedure
Initiating Controlled Skin Renewal
The Remodeling Procedure itself is the point at which active skin renewal is initiated.
Rather than being applied and removed during the same appointment, the resurfacing solution used during this procedure is designed to remain on the skin for an extended period of time, typically 8 to 12 hours or overnight. This prolonged contact allows for controlled stimulation that encourages the skin to release compacted surface cells and initiate repair.
The goal is not aggressive exfoliation. The goal is to signal the skin to reorganize how it renews itself.
What to Expect During the Appointment
During application, you may experience warmth, tingling, stinging, or tightness. Sensation varies depending on skin sensitivity and the amount of correction needed. These sensations are expected and closely monitored.
You will leave the office with the solution on your skin and clear instructions on how to care for your skin while it remains active.
While the Procedure Is Active
While the Remodeling Procedure is active, the skin often feels tight, warm, or sensitized. This is normal. You will be instructed exactly when and how to remove the solution at home. Following these instructions precisely is critical for safety and outcome.
After Removal
Once the solution is removed, the skin may appear red, feel tight, or be mildly swollen. On the day following the Procedure, we will conduct an in-office follow up to assess the skin's initial healing phase.
Over the following days, you may experience dryness, flaking, or shedding as the skin releases surface cells that are no longer functioning properly.
Some clients shed lightly. Others more noticeably. The amount of shedding does not determine the success of the procedure.
Lift Off
Supporting Healing and Stabilization
After the Remodeling Procedure, the skin enters its recovery and stabilization phase.
Lift Off sessions are designed to support circulation, calm inflammation, and help the skin complete its renewal cycle in a controlled way. This phase reduces the risk of rebound sensitivity and helps the skin maintain the changes initiated during remodeling.
Clients often notice smoother texture, improved tone, and increased comfort as the skin settles and strengthens.
Why the Sequence Matters
Each step of this process exists to support the next.
Assessment determines readiness.
Muscle Banding conditions the skin.
The Remodeling Procedure initiates renewal.
Lift Off supports healing and stabilization.
When performed in the correct order, the skin is able to remodel more evenly and maintain its results more effectively.
What the Remodeling Procedure Can Improve
This process is particularly effective for skin concerns that do not respond well to surface level treatments, including:
• Congestion and uneven texture
• Hyperpigmentation
• Dull or sluggish skin
• Premature aging patterns
Results continue to develop as the skin completes its renewal cycle.
Why We Call This a Remodeling Procedure
This treatment is called a Remodeling Procedure because the goal is not simply exfoliation. The goal is functional change.
The skin is prepared, stimulated for a specific length of time, and then supported through recovery so it can rebuild itself more efficiently. This approach produces results that are more stable, predictable, and long lasting than traditional peel based treatments.
When skin is allowed to remodel rather than stripped, it behaves better over time.
Perfect Skin Esthetics is proud to be the first and only current provider of this transformative skin revision protocol.
